Description A travel diary written by Jeanelle Landstrom's Aunt Celle, describing their road trips around the United States. Celle lives in Tuscola, Illinois, and takes several trips: to D.C. via Indianapolis, Dayton, Canton, Hagerstown, Winchester and Charlottesville, and then on to Gettysburg; to Winona via Madison and Chicago; to Buffalo, New York via Detroit; to Cairo (Illinois), Memphis, Tate Springs, Hernando, Grenada, Gulfport, Biloxi, Mobile, Pensacola, Florida, Augusta, Aiken, Asheville, Mount Vernon, Frankfort and Cumberland Gap; to Michigan and finally to Madison. Celle describes journey conditions, sights seen along the way as well as tourist destinations visited, the food eaten and the hotels they stay in. Celle often records specific times of arrivals/departures, and distances between locations.
