Description | A travel journel written by Rev. James Howard Means, pastor of Second Church of Dorchester, Massachusetts. The journal describes a series of trips in the United States, including a voyage through the Great Lakes, 17 April-13 June 1848; a visit to New Hampshire, 1-17 August 1850; and two visits to the Adirondacks 6-23 August 1867 and 15 July-1 August 1868.
