Description Volume 5, "California 1927," documents a cross-country trip taken by Morgan and his wife, beginning in Washington, D.C. and travelling through Biloxi, New Orleans, Houston, San Antonio, Tucson, Phoenix, and San Diego. In California, the couple visits Los Angeles, Pasadena, Hollywood, La Jolla, Santa Barbara, Yosemite, Santa Cruz, Palo Alto, and San Francisco. The volume concludes with materials on Salt Lake City and Colorado and a final news clipping written by Morgan’s brother on the cross-country odyssey which was published in the Peoria newspaper, June 19, 1927.
