Description Diaries of Mildred Cox Howes of Brookline and Chestnut Hill, 1896-1973, includes travel diaries for 1902, 1910-15, 1924, and 1925; and a yachting diary for the summer of 1901. Entries include accounts of time spent with family members such as her father William Emerson Cox, her mother Josephine Nickerson Cox, her husband Osborne "Howsie" Howes, her sister-in-law Edith Perkins Cox, her daughter Pricilla Howes Nickerson, and her governess Laura A. Young (know as Val) and time spent sailing. Travel accounts include camping trips, fishing, and hunting trips in Maine, Montana, and Canada and time spent aboard the yacht around Rhode Island.
