Description The second volume of Miss Jemima Morrell’s account of her guided tour across the Swiss Alps, led by Thomas Cook. Continuing ‘Part Two: Bernese Oberland’, the party (now travelling without Mr. Cook) reach Weggis and continue on to climb the Rigi. They stay overnight at Rigi-Kulm and watch the sun rise over the Rigi before travelling back to Lucerne to take the train to Neuchatel. 'Part Three: Paris' describes the group's sight-seeing in Paris before their return to England. Includes romantic descriptions of the landscape and details of transport and accommodation.
