Description | Silent promotional film from the Camping Club of Great Britain and Ireland showing a young couple embarking on a camping holiday. They begin by enquiring about camping at the head London office, before visiting a camp site to see the tents and caravans. The couple buy their equipment and, after meeting two bicyclists in the countryside, are able to use their Camping Club Yearbook to point them in the direction of the nearest site. The film shows their efforts to put up a tent and light their gas burner and the entertainment available at various sites such as canoeing, country dancing and the Feast of Lanterns. The film ends with the code of camping rules. |
