Description Eva E. Blackwelder's diary of her tour of Massachusetts, beginning in Worcester and ending in Boston. She gives details about historic events such as the Plymouth Colony, the Salem Witch Trials and King Philip's War. There are also detailed descriptions of marketplaces and the cost of items as well as the fashions and cultures of the places visited. As well as journal entries, the diary also includes clippings from newspapers, photos and illustrations of places visited and booklets from hotels.
