Description Eva E. Blackwelder's diary of her tour of Massachusetts, stopping at many historic places and giving details about historic events such as the Plymouth Colony and the Salem Witch Trials. She gives details of food eaten, places visited and hospitality offered by people she meets. She gives detailed descriptions of the weather and the history of the places visited. As well as journal entries, the diary also includes clippings from newspapers, photos and illustrations of places visited and booklets from hotels.
