Description Travel journal attributed to Catherine Scollay, written while on a trip from Boston, Massachusetts to Niagara Falls, New York, 14 June-29 July 1825. Entries describe the voyage through Massachusetts; the landscape; stops en route; towns, taverns, and inns patronized; and sights seen. The journal was written as a narrative in three volumes, with some repetition, and seems to include a draft and a final version. Formerly attributed to Dr. Jacob Bigelow and to Margaret Scollay Bigelow.
