Description An account of a cruise from Liverpool, New York to Miami, Florida, stopping off in Elizabeth City, North Carolina and Charleston, South Carolina, by a woman called Anne, who travels with her small family. The diary mainly covers the weather and sailing conditions, as well as repair work on the yacht, with occasional mentions of shore activities such as beach visits. Included in the diary is a postcard from New Jersey and newspaper clipping covering the story of a family who sailed in a very old boat.
