Description Thomas Cook Archives: "This page from the Illustrated London News of 2 October 1858 was sent to us by a resident of Peterborough in 1981. It was found in his family Bible. It is the earliest illustration in our possession of a Cook's tourist party." The image depicts a group of Cook's tourists in Scotland flocking to see the Queen as her train passed through Dunbar during one of Cook's excursions.
